Notice Text
Extremely cold temperatures are forecast from the Southern Rockies to the East Coast from Friday, January 23, through Monday, January 26. These cold temperatures have the potential to significantly increase natural gas demand outside Southern California and may lead to disruptions in producing areas (e.g., well freeze-offs) that supply our service territories. SoCalGas and SDG&E are taking operational precautions to prepare for the effects of these potential supply disruptions. SoCalGas and SDG&E urge customers to work with their suppliers to align usage with scheduled deliveries during this weather event. Customers and suppliers are advised to monitor Envoy for further updates.
