Effective 7:00 AM PST on August 21, 2025, and until further notice, SoCalGas has issued a Southern System Curtailment Watch for the SoCalGas and SDG&E service territories that include Riverside, Imperial, and San Diego Counties due to weather-related high gas demand and low scheduled volumes into the Southern System.
Noncore customers on the Southern System may be required to reduce or stop their natural gas use per SoCalGas Rule 23 and SDG&E Rule 14.
Customers should continue to monitor ENVOY at https://www.socalgasenvoy.com. for further updates.
