NGTL System Preliminary 2026 Interim Rates

October 21, 2025

 

 

NGTL GP Ltd. (NGTL) intends to file an application by November 12, 2025 with the Canada Energy Regulator (CER) requesting approval of NGTL System Interim 2026 Rates and Abandonment Surcharges proposed to be effective January 1, 2026.

 

NGTL has calculated preliminary Interim 2026 Rates based on a revenue requirement of $3.943 billion for the NGTL System in accordance with the 2025 – 2029 Revenue Requirement Settlement.

 

The following distance-diameter allocators were used to establish rates for delivery services: 535 for East Gate deliveries; 579 for West Gate deliveries; and 798 for Group 2 & 3 deliveries.

 

The preliminary throughput and contract demand quantities used to determine the preliminary 2026 Interim Rates are as follows:
