NEXUS Customer Specific Operational Flow Order -- EFF 4/17
NEXUS GAS TRANSMISSION, LLC (NEXUS) has limited operational flexibility to manage imbalances. As a result, in order to maintain the operational integrity of the system, NEXUS is issuing an Operational Flow Order (OFO) pursuant to Section 14.7 of the General Terms and Conditions of NEXUS's FERC Gas Tariff, effective 9:00 AM CCT, April 17, 2026, for certain receipt point parties on the NEXUS system. NEXUS will be contacting the affected parties.
This OFO does not affect the ability of NEXUS to receive or deliver quantities of gas for scheduled nominations to any customer or pipeline.
During the effectiveness of this OFO, all parties must be balanced such that actual deliveries of gas out of the system must be equal to or less than scheduled deliveries out of the system. The penalty shall apply to each dekatherm of actual delivery quantities that are greater than scheduled quantities plus 500 Dth or 104% of scheduled delivery quantities. The penalty will be equal to an OFO Index Price (calculated as 300% of the daily Gas Daily posting for the Day on which the deviation occurred for the high "Common" price for the geographical region, as defined in Section 19.7(B) of these General Terms and Conditions, in which the deviation occurred)
In addition, NEXUS will not permit retroactive nominations to avoid an OFO penalty.
This OFO will remain in effect until further notice.
In addition, NEXUS is experiencing high hourly unratable takes from the system causing delivery pressures reaching lower than desired levels. If certain delivery point operators do not adjust their hourly deliveries to be equal to or less than scheduled daily deliveries divided by 24, NEXUS will issue an Hourly OFO effective 9:00 AM CCT, April 17, 2026.
Please contact your Operations Account Representative should you have any questions.
