    NEXUS Customer Specific Operational Flow Order -- UPDATE EFF 1/1


    Notice Text:

    NEXUS GAS TRANSMISSION, LLC (NEXUS) has limited operational flexibility to manage imbalances.  As a result, in order to maintain the operational integrity of the system, NEXUS is updating the previously posted Operational Flow Order (OFO) pursuant to Section 14.7 of the General Terms and Conditions of NEXUS's FERC Gas Tariff, effective 9:00 AM CCT, January 1, 2026, for certain receipt point parties on the NEXUS system.  NEXUS will be contacting the affected parties.

     

    This OFO does not affect the ability of NEXUS to receive or deliver quantities of gas for scheduled nominations to any customer or pipeline.

     

    For Gas Days January 1 through January 2, 2026, the notified party must be balanced such that actual receipts of gas into the system must be equal to or greater than scheduled receipts into the system.  The penalty shall apply to each dekatherm of actual receipt quantities that are less than scheduled quantities minus 1,000 Dth or 95% of scheduled receipt quantities. 

     

    Beginning Gas Day January 3, 2026, the notified party must be balanced such that actual receipts of gas into the system must be equal to or greater than scheduled receipts into the system.  The penalty shall apply to each dekatherm of actual receipt quantities that are less than scheduled quantities minus 1,000 Dth or 92% of scheduled receipt quantities. 

     

    The penalty will be equal to an OFO Index Price (calculated as 300% of the daily Gas Daily posting for the Day on which the deviation occurred for the high "Common" price for the geographical region, as defined in Section 19.7(B) of these General Terms and Conditions, in which the deviation occurred)

     

    In addition, NEXUS will not permit retroactive nominations to avoid an OFO penalty.

     

    This OFO will remain in effect until further notice.
