Subject: FORCE MAJEURE-SEG 11- AM#3 M/L-REMEDIATE |
FORCE MAJEURE – AMARILLO #3 M/L (CS 193/104) – PIPELINE REMEDIATION
During the evaluation and pipeline integrity work, Natural discovered anomalies between Compressor Station 193 (CS 193) located in Edwards County, Kansas and Compressor Station 104 (CS 104) located in Barton County, Kansas (Segment 11 of Natural's Midcontinent Zone), see Notice ID 46122 dated July 2, 2025, entitled (SEGMENT 11 – AMARILLO #3 MAINLINE (CS 193/104) – PIPELINE INTEGRITY). This remediation requires Natural to perform emergent repair work and is a Force Majeure event. Natural is also required to reduce the maximum operating capacity northbound through CS 104, thus limiting Natural's throughput capacity northbound through CS 104.
The scheduling constraint will be at CS 104; therefore, any gas received south of CS 104 for delivery north of CS 104 will be impacted for the duration of the restriction. The Pooling Point - Midcontinent Zone (LOC 25078) is located south of the constraint. Firm transportation associated with storage withdrawals and injections may be impacted.
As such, effective for gas day Thursday, July 10, 2025, Timely Cycle, and anticipated to continue through Wednesday, July 16, 2025, Natural will schedule Primary Firm and Secondary in-path Firm transports to no less than 67% of contract MDQ through CS 104. AOR/ITS and Secondary out-of-path Firm transports will not be available for the duration of this restriction.
The stated scheduling percentage is based upon the current level of firm capacity contracted for during this restriction and is subject to change based upon operational conditions and Shipper utilization.
