Critical Day on the East System
February 24, 2016
Due to high pressures on the East System, includes (Bluewater, South Timbalier and South Pass),
Kinetica Energy is declaring a Critical Day Notice pursuant to its FERC approved tariff (See Section 1.9 in
the General Terms and Conditions) effective Timely Cycle GD 25. This Critical Day Notice will remain in
effect until further notice.
All point operators are required to keep actual daily receipts into the Kinetica system at quantities that
are less than or equal to scheduled quantities regardless of their cumulative imbalance positions.
The necessity for this requirement is to allow Kinetica to maintain appropriate operating pressures.
Customers are strongly advised to monitor the EBB for updates.
