Subject: Line SM-80 Loop Pipeline Maintenance (CEREWEST), Effective May 18 – June 6, 2026
Author: Dillon Schoolcraft
Notice Text
Columbia Gas Transmission, LLC (TCO) notifies customers of upcoming pipeline maintenance on Line SM-80 Loop in West Virginia scheduled to begin on Monday, May 18, through Saturday, June 6, 2026. During the maintenance, TCO will be utilizing the temporary internal constraint Ceredo West MA19 (CEREWEST).Due to the utilization of CEREWEST, TCO has configured the temporary constraint in TC eConnects. This will allow customers to view CEREWEST on the Internal Constraint Rights screen, as well as the Operationally Available Capacity screen on Informational Postings. Based on forecasted operating conditions during the maintenance, TCO does not currently anticipate any reduction to firm nominations through CEREWEST. However, based on operating conditions, including the logistics involved with the performance of work, it may become necessary to reduce the capacity through CEREWEST to a level as low as 1,400,000 Dth Total Capacity (zero non-firm).Customers are encouraged to monitor the Construction and Maintenance Schedule for any non-firm impacts and the Daily Capacity Posting for specific capacity settings each day of the outage.Reservation charge credits (RCCs) will be determined per the process set forth in the General Terms and Conditions, Section 38 of TCO’s FERC Gas Tariff (“Tariff”). However, TCO will only issue RCCs if TCO is unable to schedule or deliver primary firm nominated capacity as a result of the outage. In the event RCCs are issued as set forth in the Tariff, shippers will receive RCCs based on its 7-day average usage quantity less any scheduled quantities on the contract. By means of this notice, TCO is establishing which specific Gas Days will be included when determining a shipper’s 7-day average usage quantity pursuant to the provisions in the Tariff. Please contact your Customer Services Representative with any questions.
