Pursuant to Section 5 of the Alliance Pipeline L.P. FERC Gas Tariff, Alliance notifies its shippers that it is declaring Force Majeure due to breakage to machinery, namely compressor failure at the Manchester compressor station.
As a result of the Force Majeure, firm capacity will be reduced by 18% effective immediately.
Alliance is diligently working to remedy the situation; however, at present the duration of the outage is unknown. Alliance will provide daily updates via CommPass notice by 4:00pm CCT each day until the situation is resolved.
All shippers must ensure that their Alliance Pipeline balances remain within tolerance for each cycle, after confirmation from downstream transporters for all services. In accordance with GT&C Section 37.1 of the GT&C, Alliance will issue Operational Flow Orders to shippers whose actions threaten to impair reliable firm service on the pipeline.
