Good afternoon,

On April 27, 2026, UGI Utilities ended the gas day with excess supply on Transco pipeline, causing suppliers to have gas low burned, or nominations reduced, to match supplies with demand. An imbalance was established on Transco for the difference. A retroactive nomination was submitted to reallocate the low burned supply. With limited time remaining in the month, UGI Utilities proceeded through the accounting close process, and applied the retroactive nomination as if it were approved.

On May 6, UGI Utilities was notified that Transco did not accept the retroactive nomination. Without a successful retroactive nomination, UGI Utilities must now adjust its records, and will update Central and Choice supply nominations to reflect the excess supply on Transco on April 27. This adjustment will create long position imbalances for Central and Choice suppliers. Central suppliers will be allowed to create a short position for their customers in the month of May or June and use the long imbalance from April to cover the short position. Affected Choice suppliers will see an imbalance and under delivery to their Daily Delivery Requirement (DDR) for April 27 but will not be penalized.

If there are any questions or concerns regarding these changes, please contact Kristina Kullman, kkullman@ugi.com.

Sincerely,
UGI Utilities, Gas Supply Department
