Station 2 Maintenance Work - May to June
Notice Text
Loss of critical unit (LCU) protection at Station 2 on the Prairies Pipeline System will be limited from May 11 to June 25 Gas Days inclusive due to upgrades and annual preventative maintenance work at the compressor station.
During this period, Prairies system capacity is expected to remain similar to current levels in the Planned Maintenance Capacity Bulletins. However, there will be a higher risk to firm and discretionary services should an additional unplanned compressor unit outage occur at Station 2 or at downstream compressor station facilities in the SSDA. TC Energy will be employing additional measures to minimize both the potential for, and impacts from unplanned outages during periods when LCU protection is limited.
TC Energy will continue to communicate system capacity on a regular basis through the weekly Planned Maintenance Capacity Bulletins.
Note that system capacities are variable due to many factors including forecast delivery distribution, ambient temperatures, gas stream energy content, facility availability, and interconnect assistance as applicable. Actual capacities on the day may vary due to changes to the maintenance schedule, unplanned events, and differences between forecast and actual conditions.
