    Athens Compressor Station Unplanned Outage


    Notice Text:

    Texas Eastern (TE) has experienced an unplanned outage on its 30" system at the Athens Compressor Station (Athens) in Athens, Ohio and efforts to restore the station to full capacity are underway. As a result of this outage north to south capacity through stations on the 30 inch line will be reduced to approximately:

     

    Berne               2,125,000 Dth/d

    Athens             2,005,000 Dth/d

    Wheelersburg  1,935,000 Dth/d

    Danville           1,810,000 Dth/d

    Tompkinsville  1,710,000 Dth/d

    Barton               1,710,000 Dth/d

     

     

    TE will take into consideration the reduced capacity during the timely cycles for future gas days beginning Gas Day April 29, 2026.Operational capacities may change based on additional system planned maintenance activities. Please see the Major Outage Overview postings for further updates and capacities.  

     

    In addition, receipt meters between TE's Berne and Uniontown compressor station are expected to see higher than normal pressures until further notice.
