On May 1, 2023, Spire Storage West LLC experienced an interruption to the power supply serving
Spire Storage’s Belle Butte plant, which in turn caused certain facilities at the plant to go offline.
Spire Storage has brought the affected plant facilities back online and is working diligently to
restore service as soon as possible, with a full return to service expected for the Gas Day beginning
May 2, 2023. We will continue to share updates as more information becomes available.
Receipt and delivery of gas is impacted at all locations effective during the Intraday 2 Nomination
Cycle and Intraday 3 Nomination Cycle on May 1, 2023.
This incident constitutes an event of force majeure under Section 6.19 of the General Terms and
Conditions of Spire Storage’s FERC Gas Tariff.
