FORCE MAJEURE - White Castle (Segment 340) – UPDATE #1
As previously posted (#711273) on October 15th, 2025, Southern experienced an unscheduled maintenance event on the White Castle Franklinton loop line north of White Castle (Segment 340) located in Ascension County, LA which required immediate remediation and reduced Southern's capacity through Segment 340 – White Castle by 382 Mdth/d. All priorities of service continue to be at risk. At this time, Southern is estimating a repair to be completed on or before Sunday, October 19, 2025. Southern will provide updates as additional information is known and/or when the repair has been completed.
This outage constitutes an event of Force Majeure under Section 8.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of SNG's FERC Gas Tariff.
As a reminder, and as posted on Southern's weekly EBB postings and on posting (#711245), Southern has ongoing scheduled pipeline maintenance on the White Castle Franklinton loop line north of White Castle (Segment 350 – LA West Leg) located in Livingston County, LA. As a result, Segment 350 – LA West Leg. capacity of 798 Mdth/d remains impacted by 258 Mdth/d through gas day November 7th, 2025. Based on current system demand, all priorities of service pathed through Segment 350 - LA West Leg may be at risk.
