PNGTS would like to remind shippers and point operators that the following Operational Alert posted on January 26, 2026 (NOTICE ID 5414) is still in effect until further notice.
Portland Natural Gas Transmission System (PNGTS) anticipates limited flexibility for the PNGTS service area effective Gas Day Tuesday, January 27, 2026 and continuing until further notice.
Pursuant to this advisory, shippers and point operators must ensure that actual receipts of gas into the system are greater than or equal to scheduled receipts and that actual deliveries off the system must be equal to or less than scheduled deliveries. Failure to do so may result in restrictions to non-firm services and/or reductions at underperforming points.
Based on the current operating conditions, the following restrictions will apply for Gas Day Tuesday, January 27, 2026 and until further notice:
- Interruptible Transportation (IT) and Park and Loan (PAL) rate schedules are subject to restrictions based on operational capability.
PNGTS will continue to closely monitor system conditions and will provide updates as available.
