Subject: UPDATE to Operational Alert and Restrictions
Portland Natural Gas Transmission System (PNGTS) continues to have limited flexibility for the PNGTS service territory beginning Gas Day Friday, September 5th, 2025 until further notice.
Pursuant to this advisory, shippers and point operators are asked to equalize receipts and deliveries.
IT/PAL Restrictions:
IT services will be unavailable until further notice.
PAL services will be restricted as follows beginning Gas Day Monday, September 8, 2025:
No Loans or Park Withdrawals will be scheduled
No Parks or Loan Paybacks sourced from Pittsburg/East Hereford will be scheduled
Parks and Loan Paybacks sourced from M&N will be evaluated on an individual basis and may be scheduled as operationally feasible.
Shippers are encouraged to monitor PNGTS postings for changes.
Powerplant Operators:
We remind power plant operators that they should provide information mandated by FERC Order No. 698. Information required includes the hourly consumption profile of directly connected power generation facilities.
To avoid additional restrictions, shippers should adhere as closely as practicable to ratable hourly takes.
