Binding Open Season
July 25 – August 14, 2025
Notice of Binding Open Season:
Portland Natural Gas Transmission System (“PNGTS”) is pleased to announce a binding open season to commence on July 25, 2025 and close at 10:00 AM ET on August 14, 2025 (“2025 PNGTS Expansion Open Season”). The purpose of the Open Season is to provide all interested parties the opportunity to bid on up to a total of 14,221 Dth/d of expansion firm transportation capacity (referred to as the “2025 PNGTS Expansion”), pursuant to the terms set forth below.
Background :
In response to market demand and as a result of incremental upstream capacity becoming available on TransCanada Pipeline (“TCPL”), PNGTS is able to offer increased firm transportation capacity and transportation service with receipts at Pittsburg, New Hampshire and deliveries to Westbrook, Maine, and / or Dracut, Massachusetts, on PNGTS’ system.
PNGTS anticipates that the limited additional capacity of 14,221 Dth/d will become available as early as November 1, 2028, subject to all necessary approvals and satisfaction of all applicable regulatory requirements of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“FERC”).
