Subject: Chehalis Update and Request to Vacate SGS-2I at JP
Notice Text:
Due to additional work identified during ongoing repairs, the
current anticipated return to service date of the Chehalis
compressor station unit is now July 3, 2025. The current
available capacity remains at 600,000 Dth/day southbound.
Northwest apologizes for this inconvenience and will work
diligently to complete all the work as quickly and safely as
possible to minimize impacts. Any changes or updates to the
schedule will be promptly communicated via the Northwest
Pipeline Portal.
Northwest will continue to mitigate Operational Flow Orders
(OFO) and deficiency impacts at Chehalis compressor station on
an operationally available basis, as referenced in Notice ID’s
25-071, 25-070, and 25-069.
With the ongoing work at our Chehalis compressor station and
current storage levels at Jackson Prairie (JP), operational
flexibility on the pipeline is currently limited. Northwest is
requesting that customers stay on rate and avoid banking gas on
the system to help maintain system balance and ensure continued
reliable service for all customers.
Additionally, all SGS-2I Shippers with existing Working Gas
Inventory are requested to eliminate their balance by the end
of Gas Day June 30, 2025. If operational circumstances require
a change to that date, Northwest will issue an additional
posting in accordance with Section 2.3 of the SGS-2I Rate
Schedule.
