This is to notify all interested parties that Great Lakes Gas Transmission (“GLGT”) experienced an unexpected and uncontrollable equipment failure at Thief River Falls Compressor Station on Unit #201. Great Lakes has determined that this equipment failure is a Force Majeure event as described in Section 6.10.1 of GLGT's FERC Gas Tariff ("Tariff") and will result in its inability to carry out its obligations under its Tariff with respect to natural gas transportation and related services. As a result, capacity will be restricted as follows:
1/12 (Intraday) No incremental volumes will be scheduled.
1/13 – 1/31 – Emerson Eastbound (LOC #3833975): Available Capacity 1,605 MMcf/d
This may result in Firm Primary, Firm Secondary and Interruptible curtailments. The estimated impact to Firm Primary is 9%. Please reference Section 6.10.3 (b) of GLGT's FERC Gas Tariff for information regarding reservation charge credits as they relate to Force Majeure events.
Please refer to the maintenance schedule on the EBB for any additional impacts.
