Force Majeure – Seligman Station
El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (EPNG) is experiencing operational issues with both compressor units at its Seligman Compressor Station located in Coconino County, Arizona. The Seligman B compressor unit has suffered a seal failure, while the Seligman C compressor unit has experienced a speed control circuit failure. These equipment failures compromise the operational integrity of the compressor station and require immediate repair. As a result, the entire Seligman Compressor Station is unavailable for service until the necessary repairs are completed. Accordingly, the operational capacity through the NORTH ML constraint will be reduced by an additional 144,220 dekatherms per day (Dth/d) effective August 3, 2026, Intraday 1 Cycle, (Cycle 3).
EPNG will be posting an updated maintenance notice to reflect the total impact through the NORTH ML constraint.
EPNG will provide updates as more information becomes available.
This incident constitutes an event of Force Majeure under Section 11.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of EPNG's FERC Gas Tariff.
