Force Majeure – Line No. 1102 – Anomaly Repairs – Plains to Dimmitt – MLV 20 to MLV 16
El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (EPNG) has identified anomalies on Line No. 1102 downstream of its Plains Compressor Station between Mainline Valves 20 and 16, located in Cochran, Hockley, and Lamb Counties, Texas. The repairs will require a pressure restriction, isolation, and a corresponding reduction in operational capacity.
Accordingly, the operational capacity through the PLAINS N constraint will be reduced by 112,500 dekatherms per day (Dth/d), effective July 8, 2026, Timely Cycle, (Cycle 1).
The operational capacity through the AMAR S constraint will be reduced by 83,124 dekatherms per day (Dth/d), effective July 8, 2026, Timely Cycle, (Cycle 1).
EPNG will post an updated maintenance notice to reflect the total impact through the PLAINS N and AMAR S constraints. These reductions in operational capacity will remain in effect until further notice.
EPNG will provide updates as more information becomes available.
This incident constitutes an event of Force Majeure under Section 11.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of EPNG's FERC Gas Tariff.
