April 28, 2026 

Cancellation of Strained Operating Condition (SOC) 

 

Colorado Interstate Gas Company, L.L.C. (CIG) hereby provides notice that the Strained Operating Condition (SOC) declared in Critical Notice No. 122965 will terminate beginning Intraday 2 Cycle, Gas Day April 28, 2026.   

 

Accordingly, CIG will take the following actions beginning Gas Day April 28: 

 

1. NNT authorized overrun requests will be evaluated daily and follow normal allocation procedures. 

 

2. Interruptible storage injections on IS-1 and IS-T services will be available as operational conditions permit.   Interruptible storage injections on IS-Y service will remain unavailable per notice 122913. 

 

3. Payback OFF and ONTO the system will be accepted as operational conditions permit. 

 

4. SS-1 and SS-HP Operators should continue to monitor any balances and take steps to reduce existing balances. 

 

5. CIG's Confirmation Balancing Exception Process (APAL) will be reactivated. 

 

Interconnect operators delivering supplies into CIG's pipeline should continue to monitor their flow rates to ensure that flow matches or does not exceed scheduled quantities to the greatest extent possible. Interconnect operators

receiving supplies from CIG's pipeline are asked to continue to monitor their flow rates to ensure that flow matches or is not less than scheduled quantities to the greatest extent possible.  

Interconnect operators with OBA balances owed to the operator (pack) should continue to take steps to reduce existing balances to zero. 

 

CIG will continue to monitor pipeline conditions and will reissue an SOC if conditions warrant.
