Notice of Force Majeure Event
Per NOAA public advisory, Hurricane Laura has strengthened into a major hurricane, with potentially
catastrophic storm surge, extreme winds, and flash flooding expected along the northwest Gulf Coast
tonight (8/26/2020).
Evacuation has become necessary to ensure the safety of on-site personnel. In response to this emergency
situation, Cameron Interstate Pipeline (“CIP”) is providing notice of a Force Majeure Event pursuant to
Section 8.21 of the General Terms and Conditions of its FERC Gas Tariff.
All transportation services will be impacted for the duration of the Force Majeure event.
CIP will not schedule any transport increases effective for Gas Day 8/26/2020 [ Intraday 2 ] or through the
remainder of the cycles in this Gas Day.
Effective for Gas Day1 [ 08/27/2020 ] beginning with the [ Timely ] cycle and until further notice,
transportation service greater than 1,000 dth – in aggregate – will be unavailable.
Updates will be provided via informational postings to Pipeline’s EBB: CIP Informational Postings
