June to December 2023 Construction and Maintenance Notice
Bluewater Gas Storage will have Kimball construction projects from June 21, 2023 to approximately
December 15, 2023.
Bluewater Gas Storage, in compliance with its storage integrity management plan, will also have limited
injection and withdrawal capability for November 1st through the 7th. Bluewater will be shutting in the
larger of its two storage fields
—Columbus III—during this time.
Due to these construction and maintenance projects, Bluewater will have the following limitations:
From November 1st through the 7th, there will be no injection or withdrawal capabilities for its FSS
customers.
From November 8th through the 30th, withdrawal capabilities will be in the range of 90 percent of
anticipated prevailing FSS customer MDWQ levels. Bluewater asks that customers limit their activity to
that range to benefit these construction projects. Interruptible withdrawals
—including authorized
withdrawal overruns
—will very likely be unavailable during this period.
From December 1st through the 15st, injection capabilities will be in the range of 40 percent of anticipated
prevailing FSS customer MDIQ levels. Bluewater asks that customers limit their activity to that range to
benefit these construction projects. Interruptible injections
—including authorized injection overruns—will
very likely be unavailable during this period.
