Operating Conditions – System Balancing

Adelphia Gateway has limited flexibility to manage imbalances. Shippers are
strongly encouraged to manage their system requirements to ensure a concurrent
balance of receipts and deliveries daily while not exceeding hourly entitlements.
Specifically, Shippers are encouraged not to create imbalances in the “due from”
position (short to the pipeline). Absent voluntary compliance, Adelphia Gateway
may be required to take further action including issuing Operational Flow Orders
(OFOs).

Shippers with imbalances greater than the allowed tolerance will be subject to
penalties as defined in Section 13.8 of the General Terms and Conditions of
Adelphia Gateway’s FERC Gas Tariff for the day on which such violation occurred.

Please contact your Transportation Services Representative should you have any
questions 732-919-8163.
