Tompkinsville Unplanned Outage

Notice Text:

Texas Eastern (TE) has experienced an unplanned outage on its 30" system at the Tompkinsville compressor station (Tompkinsville) in Tompkinsville, Kentucky and efforts to restore the station to full capacity are underway.  As a result of this outage north to south capacity through stations on the 30-inch line will be reduced to approximately:

Reduced to Approximately

Berne

2,166,000 Dth/d

Athens

2,011,000 Dth/d

Wheelersburg

1,938,000 Dth/d

Danville

1,840,000 Dth/d

Tompkinsville

1,560,000 Dth/d

Barton

1,540,000 Dth/d

TE will take into consideration the reduced capacity during the timely cycles for future gas days starting Gas Day August 23, 2025.  No restrictions will be applied for Gas Day August 22, 2025.   Restrictions to all secondary quantities (in-path and out-path) and restrictions to a portion of primary firm quantities is expected through TE's Tompkinsville compressor station.  In addition, receipt meters between TE's Berne and Uniontown compressor station are expected to see higher than normal pressures until further notice.

Although there is a possibility the station will return to full capability in 1-2 days, anticipated time of restoration is most likely approximately 10 days.  TE will post updates to the status of the repairs and any capacity updates as soon as it is known.
