SoCalGas and SDG&E are currently experiencing a shortage of supply into the Southern System. Incoming supply is not meeting the Southern System minimum requirements.
To the extent possible SoCalGas and SDG&E are taking operational measures to manage the impact of the Southern System supply deficit.
Customers have been reducing previously scheduled supply in later cycles. This late-cycle behavior is adding significant strain to the Southern System at a time when supply is already below minimum requirements.
Customers are urged to maintain scheduled deliveries into the Southern System throughout all nomination cycles and work closely with their suppliers to align usage with scheduled deliveries. Customer support in minimizing late-cycle supply reductions is critical to helping maintain system reliability during this period of constrained supply.
Customers and suppliers are advised to monitor Envoy for further updates as conditions evolve.
