Subject: Operational Alert Effective Gas Day August 7, 2026&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>Portland Natural Gas Transmission System (PNGTS) is currently experiencing continued daily Due Pipe imbalances which are causing lower than desired linepack levels across its system and limiting operational flexibility to maintain safe and reliable service.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>Pursuant to this advisory, shippers and point operators are asked to equalize receipts and deliveries. Failure to do so may result in restrictions to non-firm services and/or cuts at underperforming points.&nbsp;<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>IT/PAL Restrictions:&nbsp;<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>There are no restrictions to IT or Park and Loan (PAL) at this time.&nbsp; However, PNGTS may restrict IT and PAL services during, but not limited to Intraday Cycles at points which are out of balance.&nbsp;<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>Shippers are encouraged to monitor PNGST postings for changes.&nbsp;<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>Powerplant Operators:&nbsp;<br><br>We remind power plant operators that they should provide information mandated by FERC Order No. 698. Information required includes the hourly consumption profile of directly connected power generation facilities.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>To avoid additional restrictions, shippers should adhere as closely as practicable to ratable hourly takes.&nbsp;<br><br>Please contact Gas Scheduling with any questions at 346-241-3999.&nbsp;
