Notice Text
Millennium Pipeline Company (MPC) anticipates limited flexibility for the MPC service territory. As a result, shippers and point operators are asked to equalize receipts and deliveries. Failure to do so may result in restrictions to non-firm services, cuts at underperforming points and/or an escalation to a general or point specific OFO. This will go into effect Thursday, November 27th, and continue until further notice. IT/SOP Restrictions:While MPC is not implementing any restrictions at this time, cold weather or unanticipated demand could require segment restrictions of Secondary out of path (SOP), and Interruptible (IT) service. Shippers are encouraged to monitor MPC postings for changes.AutoPAL Reminder:AutoPAL Parks: 3,000 DTHAutoPAL Loans: 3,000 DTHMPC would like to remind shippers that the intent of the AutoPAL service is to utilize nominal quantities to resolve minor pool imbalances that result from small upstream or downstream reductions. These quantities are then paid back the next cycle of the Gas Day. This service should not be used for Parking or Loaning large quantities and is subject to monitoring for abuse. If this activity poses operational harm, MPC reserves the right to make AutoPAL unavailable or declare an OFO to prevent abuse.Powerplant OperatorsWe remind power plant operators that they should provide information mandated by FERC Order No. 698. Information required includes the hourly consumption profile of directly connected power generation facilities. To avoid additional restrictions, shippers should adhere as closely as practicable to ratable hourly takes.Powerplant Operators should coordinate closely with the Power Desk at 1-855-797-3375.Questions:Please contact your Customer Services Representative with any questions at 1-866-581-6487.
