At approximately 9:30 PM, on May 14, 2026, Gulf South Pipeline Company, LLC (“Gulf South”)
personnel detected a release from its natural gas pipeline in northern Louisiana and immediately
shut down the line. Some homes were temporarily evacuated, under the direction of local
emergency response personnel as a precautionary effort. All appropriate notifications were made.
The safety of the community, the environment and our people are a top priority. The affected
section of the pipeline will remain shut down until repairs are complete and safety and
regulatory requirements are met.
The line was isolated, and gas flow has been stopped, impacting Line 266-L in Jackson and
Ouachita parishes. As a result of the event, effective immediately, the following locations will
be scheduled to zero:
- Loc 21812 (Driscoll Gathering Cp)
-Loc 21228 (Townsend #1 Well)
- Loc 21839 (Hodde Etal H Well)
- Loc 24351 (Davis Brothers 34-3 Hc #1 Cp)
- 1 ATMOS Farm Tap
