Force Majeure – Line No. 1103 – Anomaly Repair – Guadalupe to Cornudas – Update #1
El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (EPNG) is providing this update to the Force Majeure event declared on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 (Reference Critical Notice No. 628914) for the anomaly identified on Line No. 1103 downstream of its Guadalupe Compressor Station, located in Culberson and Hudspeth Counties, Texas.
EPNG has further evaluated the anomaly repair method and the associated pressure restriction. The repair will not require isolation and accordingly, the operational capacity through the GUADLUP constraint will be increased to a net capacity of 986,061 dekatherms per day (Dth/d), effective July 7, 2026, Intraday 2 Cycle, (Cycle 4).
EPNG will post an updated maintenance notice to reflect the total impact through the GUADLUP constraint. This reduction in operational capacity will remain in effect until further notice.
EPNG will provide updates as more information becomes available.
This incident constitutes an event of Force Majeure under Section 11.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of EPNG's FERC Gas Tariff.
