    Force Majeure – Caprock Station – Unit #2

     

    El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (EPNG) has experienced an equipment failure associated with its Caprock Compressor Station Unit #2 located in Lea County, New Mexico and as such the unit is currently unavailable. Accordingly, the operational capacity through the CAPROCK N constraint will be reduced by 74,260 dekatherms per day (Dth/d) effective June 10, 2026, Evening Cycle, (Cycle 2). The operational capacity through the LUSK constraint will be reduced by 22,350 dekatherms per day (Dth/d) effective June 10, 2026, Evening Cycle, (Cycle 2).

     

    EPNG will be posting an updated maintenance notice to reflect the total impact through the CAPROCK N and LUSK constraints.

     

    EPNG will provide updates as more information becomes available.

     

    This incident constitutes an event of Force Majeure under Section 11.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of EPNG's FERC Gas Tariff.
