Force Majeure – Amarillo Station – Unit #2
El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (EPNG) has experienced an equipment failure associated with its Amarillo Compressor Station Unit #2 located in Randall County, Texas, and as such the unit is currently unavailable. This results in a full station outage due to Amarillo Station Unit #1 remaining unavailable under a Force Majeure repair (reference critical notice No. 624958). Accordingly, the operational capacity through the AMAR N constraint will be reduced by an additional 35,359 dekatherms per day (Dth/d) effective on October 26, 2025, Timely Cycle, (Cycle 1). The operational capacity through the AMAR S constraint will be reduced by an additional 35,359 dekatherms per day (Dth/d) effective on October 26, 2025, Timely Cycle, (Cycle 1). EPNG will be posting an updated maintenance notice to reflect the total impact through the AMAR N and AMAR S constraints.
EPNG will provide updates as more information becomes available.
This incident constitutes an event of Force Majeure under Section 11.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of EPNG's FERC Gas Tariff.
